A. Cardboard box containing six half-gallon clear-glass handle jugs. Some had white-painted metal screw caps. B. Wooden crate containing four of the same kind of bottles. The labels on the bottles are for various House's Cherry Cider Company soft drinks including Grape Flavored Drink, Raspberry Drink, Cherri-Mix, Sweet Apple Cider, and Sweet Cider.

Context

These soft drinks, developed by Edwin House, were distributed by Erv R. Kasten, Jr. These non-alcoholic, non-carbonated, sweet drinks were often described as the forerunners of Kool-Aid.
