Description

Three elderly gentlemen sit on a bench in a garden. This image was featured as History Mystery #21 with the question "We believe that these three gents posing ca 1910 had something in common. What was it and can you identify any of them?" and the solution "The men are the last survivors of the Civil War. The gentleman in the middle is Charles Billings. The others are unidentified." As of Sept. 2026, Jack Sheridan thinks one of the gents is Alvin Henry Stillson.
