Scope and Content

Photocopy of an architect's preliminary rendering of an observation deck repurposed from the Mount Baldhead Gap-Filler Radar Annex radome. Side one of the photocopy is a sketch of the proposed Mount Baldhead observation deck as seen from across the river. The drawing is label as the work of John Suhr, Architect, 857-1548 and dated 7/97. Side two of the photocopy, dated 8/97, has a list of ten notes supporting the proposed reuse. The plan includes an "open" elevator on the tower and an inclined lift installed next to the staircase.

Context

A late 1990s proposal to reuse the radar installation. Item was from of a collection of papers saved by Ron and Bonnie Wilkins of Wilkins Hardware.
