Description

Augusta Flood - Bottom Road washed out, June 1, 1973. Note on back: "The Augusta bottom road was washed out by the Spring of 1973 flood. The levee running parallel to the road broke at this point. The fast moving water washed out about 400 feet of road and created a hole about 30 feet deep. A corn crib was about ready to topple into the hole when the flood subsided."
