Barn in Augusta, MO, 94 west of Ger. Lutheran Church. On back: "Barn at the John Knoenschild (?) farm now owned by his grandson, Oscar Knoenschild's widow. John K. is the oldest of the three brothers who left (Bavaria) Germany in 1845 to make their home in St. Charles County, new Augusta. The Knoenschild brothers were Charter members of the Christ Luthern Church. John K. sold some of his land on which the church, parsonage, and school now stand in August." 1976 Same barn as 232.1201, and filed with it.
