Oak Grove Cemetery - St. Charles. Monument to Bridge Victims - 11 Nov 1870. A span of the old Wabash Bridge collasped during construction. 17 workmen died in the Missouri River. One section was retrieved and erected as a monument in memory of the victims. Names of the victims are listed on Object ID 21.1.019. 4 views - 1 photo of each.
