Description

On January 21, 1889, Kate A. Kemper, wife of Judge Henry Kemper, bought the property on which both houses at 505 and 507 Clark Street now stand. The Kempers built this house on the corner of Fifth and Clark Streets in approximately 1893 - 94. This house is the largest of the three and is at present broken up into five apartments and rooms which has made it difficult to complete the floor plan. Most of the original molding is in its original state but some of it has been painted. The present owner is Mauric J. Fischbach. - Seybert Collection
