Description
St. Charles First Fire Hall dedicated on February 2, 1861. Union Fire Co. Hall, note fire towers on top of building. Next is the Campbell House, the Goebel Photographer Bldg. and last the Public School Building. Location is on the south side of Jefferson St. between Main St and Second St. Note the American flags on the fire wagon behind the men. The men are wearing period pants and jackets (Baleros) and hats.
