The Strand Theater / Natatorium showing the swimming pool that was used in the summer. In the winter the pool was covered and the area was used for staging plays, etc. Building has since been remodeled and upper story removed. Occupied for several years by Kroger Grocery Co. Presently Goodwill Industries. Mr. Ed Herman started operating silent picture machine here in 1918. Mr. Herman discovered this photograph in 1918, thus the photo predates 1918.
