Eustace Ziegler settled in Seattle in 1924. A prolific painter, he produced fifty to one hundred works a year throughout his career. He spent his summers in Alaska creating sketches which served as references for his paintings. Ziegler's landscapes focused on human interactions with the wilderness of the Northwest coast and interior. On loan through the generosity of Marjorie & Michael D. Alhadeff
