Inspired by the concept of ‘public benefit’, this artwork centers around a public drinking fountain that activates an LED lighting array spanning the entire height of the building. As issues like climate change, water privatization, and housing affordability become more prevalent, the artwork reminds us that basic human rights, like access to clean water, are intrinsically tied to our community’s health and sustainability.
