Unoriginal photograph of John F. Brown Store in background and men on horseback. This photograph has actually captured the image of the horses galloping. The caption on the bottom of print is -"This is the John F. Brown store built before there were any roads or railroad at the present town of Sasakwa. The building faced to the west and the Frisco railroad will run north and south about one block west of the store. At the time this building was being built among the trees to be near the new railroad, Old Sasakwa including Governor Brown's home was about two miles to the west. The building contained a full basement and two floors. Later when streets were ruan a new front was built on the east side of the building and the entrance on the west became the loading dock. H. Innerarity, 1976".
