Description

Photograph of the Oklahoma Military Academy marching band from Claremore Oklahoma. Band is in full unifrom, and is standing outside on the steps of a large brick building with white collumns and two glass-paned doors. It is a 30 peice band, and their leader is sitting on a chair in the front to the left. He is holding his baton in his lap, and is facing right. The man on the right is sitting in a chair facing left. The words "Major Flynn" are written below this man in blue ink. In front of the trombonists are three bass drums, the two smaller ones aside the largest. The largest drum (in middle) says "Oklahoma Military Academy, Clarmore Okla." In white the words "Blair Photo" can be seen at the bottom right corner, and mid-bottom numbers in white say "1927 ' 28". Some writing in ink was on the back of the photograph, but it has been obscured by black photo album backing.
