Description

Last execution of a Seminole before Statehood. Photograph shows a man sitting in front of a tree blindfolded with a heart pinned to his shirt where his heart would be. There appears to be a hole in the heart. Don't know if this picture was taken before or after the execution. Records say that the tree was behind Security State Bank in Wewoka.
