Photograph, negative and film strip of four men butchering a hog. The hog is suspended from a wooden frame, back feet upwards and spread. On man has his left hand on the hogs front leg. Two men behind the pig are holding the rope that is keeping the body of the hog suspended. The other man is standing behind them, looking towards the camera. A boy can be seen to the far left of the photograph, sitting on a small frame with wheels (may be a toy). A large black pot can be seen near the center of the photograph, and a smaller silver pan is near the left. Charred wooden remnants can be seen beneath the black pot. In the background there is what appears to be a wooden shed. Another building is behind it. To the right of the building is a small wooden structure that appears to be the base of a small windmill.
