Armand Marseille was a prolific German manufacturer (1885–c. 1930) based in Köppelsdorf, Thuringia, known for producing affordable, high-quality bisque doll heads. Founded by Armand Marseille, the company became one of the largest doll makers of the era. The company focused on manufacturing bisque heads, while sourcing doll bodies (kid leather, cloth, or composition) from other makers. At its peak, the factory produced over 1,000 doll heads per day. Doll production began around 1885 and lasted until about 1930.Collection
