Franklin Mint branded doll, Andrew the Gibson Ring Bearer. The doll is dressed as a ring bearer. He wears black trousers, cuffed with three black buttons on each pant leg. The doll also wears shiny black boots. On top, he wears a white button down shirt with white pearl buttons, the collar of it is white and trimmed in white lace, down either side of the buttons, there is white lace trim, the cuffs are also white with a white lace trim. The Franklin Mint is a private mint founded by Joseph Segel in 1964 in Wawa, Pennsylvania. The Franklin Mint branched into dolls after establishing themselves with, among other items, commemorative medallions. Many early, popular dolls included historical figures.
