Seymour Mann (1911–2004) was a prominent importer of decorative arts who founded his company in 1946, later gaining major recognition for the "Connoisseur Doll Collection" launched in the early 1980s. Designed largely by his wife, Eda, these porcelain, limited-edition dolls were popular, hand-painted collector items throughout the 1980s and 1990s, often featuring detailed, nostalgic, and diverse, themed attire. Seymour Mann porcelain dolls are considered discontinued and are no longer in production, with most, such as the Connoisseur and Signature series, dating from the 1980s to the early 2000s.Collection
