Christmas postcard by Raphael Tuck & Sons depicting an illustration of English robins, ivy and bells in the snow. “A happy Christmas” and "May the Christmas bring good cheer / To you and all you hold most dear / No cloud of care arise to chill / This time of joy and blithe goodwill" are printed below and to the left of the robins. Card is number C1813 in Tuck's "Oilette" series.
The postcard, postmarked December 2[?], 1909, was sent by Nellie [Talogen?], possibly on the "Steamer Marion," from Detroit, Michigan to Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Holmes at 10653 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.Category
