The chalkboard in the background reads "School News / Friday, March 31, 1933 / It is rainy and warmer today. / The temperature in 35°. / Tomorrow is the first day of April. / We call it April Fool Day. / This afternoon Rhoda's father is going to take our picture. / Marian is much better. / We are glad that Kenneth returned." The bottom of the image reads "Complimts [sic] of Rhoda Lertzman, The National Techno Photo Co., Finance Bldg. (Incorporated)" with the date April 1, 1933 in the bottom right corner.
