Undated Plate 78 from Shakers & Kirtland by Louis Baus showing Eldress Clymena Miner of the North Union Shaker Village in a black dress and white bonnet. Baus description: "In 1838 Clymena Minor [Miner] cast her lot with the Shakers and occupied positions of trust. She held the position as Elders when the society disbanded, and left for the Watervleit [Watervliet] Society among the nineteen that were transfered [sic] there.
