Hand-drawn map titled "Sketch of North Union" depicting the Shaker Mill Family, Center Family (not labeled), and School [East] Family in North Union within Warrensville Township and bordered by Newburgh Township to the west. The grist mill, saw mill, and Center Family buildings are labeled. Lower Shaker Lake is depicted but Horseshoe Lake was not yet formed. Note in top right corner reads: "Drawn while on board the boat Atlantic going down the Ohio Canal June 24, 1834." Signed "R B Spence No.3" in the bottom right corner.Collection
