Die-cut stand-up valentine by an unknown publisher featuring an illustration of a young girl shown from behind, wearing a white dress and holding a red mirror in which she winks at the viewer. The base of the card includes a printed poem: "If I want to be your Valentine — / Though I'm not a regular vamp — / You'd better watch your step young man / For I wink a wicked lamp." The word “man” is crossed out and replaced with “lady” in pencil. Fold-out tabs on either side of the base allow the card to stand upright. A handwritten inscription on the verso reads: “To Miss [Alice] Mason from Dorothy Mac Donald.”Category
