Scope and Content

Valentine card published by Rust Craft Shop in Kansas City, Missouri. The front features a minimalist heart design with the phrase "To My Valentine" in the center. The center features a Valentine message printed with a art nouveau-style heart-lined border: "In all the glad year there is one day that is especially dedicated to friendship; and the good Saint whose day it is tries to see to it that we forget our own troubles and cares and remember the friends who are far away. In the name of St. Valentine, with happy memories of past days I wish you joy. May his genial countenance be with you through the coming year, bringing you good luck and good cheer."
