Cheney Studs Oldetimers game. From nearest to furthest are Dick Webster, Tom Cross, Al Maul and Jack Johnson. Webster played for Lincoln High School in Tacoma, and was a longtime fastpitch and softball coach. Johnson was an outstanding all-around athlete from Tacoma who served as a NFL official. Cross is known as the Father of Officiating in Washington as well as director of the Pierce County Parks and Recreation department. Maul was a basketball ref who also spent time playing the sport in the area.
