Lincoln High School football coach Norm Mayer stands between two of his players – Bill Ochs and Chad Kirks – holding a microphone at a team banquet. Mayer coached football at Lincoln for 23 years from 1943 to 1966 and he had a record of 140-50-6, making him the third winningest football coach in the Tacoma-Pierce County area.
