Football practice takes place at the College of Puget Sound in 1944. From left to right there is Jim O'Brien, Larry Rask (who is carrying the football), Cliff Schiesz and Al Fairhurst. The coach is Father Gordon Toner. Besides playing football, Rask and Schiesz also both played baseball for CPS and in high school for Bellarmine Prep. While at Bellarmine, Rask played football, basketball and baseball and earned 10 varsity letters. Schiesz played semi-pro baseball for the Grays Harbor Merchants. In 1947, he played spring training with the Tacoma Tigers before getting cut.
