Description

Chuck Loete played on this 1955 Spanaway baseball team . Loete, who played football and baseball at Pacific Lutheran College and graduated from there in 1948, had a long and successful career competing and coaching various high school sports in the Tacoma area. From 1965 to 1978, he coached baseball and football and served as athletic director at Tumwater High School. He was inducted into the Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame.
