In the late 1940s, Peggy Ruehle lets loose with shot bowling wearing a dark dress. Ruehle and her husband, Bill Ruehle, were avid bowlers in Tacoma, where bowling has been popular for a long time. The Chalet Bowl in the Proctor District in Tacoma dates back to the early 1940s and is the oldest operating bowling alley in the state. On reverse of original print, written in pencil: "Beppy Ruehle"
