The Tides were partially owned by the Tacoma Twins minor league baseball team, and played their matches at Cheney Stadium.
Chadwick, who was born in Ootacamund, India, also was an assistant coach during the Tides' lone season. In 17 matches, he scored nine goals and added eight assists for 26 points, tying him for third in ASL.
Chadwick went on to become coach of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League from 1983-84 and went with the team when it became the Minnesota Strikers in 1984.Made/Created
