Description

Windsor del Llano (17), Roy Sinclair (8) and an unidentified Tacoma Tides player battle two opponents during a American Soccer League match at Cheney Stadium in 1976, the Tides' lone season of existence. The Tides finished with a 10-6-5 record, losing to the eventual ASL champion Los Angeles Skyhawks in a semifinal match. Sinclair, a midfielder, played 21 matches, scoring one goal, as an original member of the Seattle Sounders from 1974-75 before joining the Tides. Sinclair went on to become the coach at Bellevue Community College in 1976 and Seattle University in 1986.
