The senior dance club for the Lakewood Winter Club Ice Show pose on ice in 1947. By 1955 the show had eight performances and 175 skaters. The rink hosted numerous shows and was the entertainment hub for Tacoma residents until 1982 when part of the building collapsed and the rest was demolished.
