An unidentified woman, wearing an ermine cape sitting in front of a silk backdrop, poses at the Lakewood Ice Arena. It was a popular hangout spot for families and couples, and teenagers. The arena was home to many top level skaters when it opened in the 1930s. By 1955 the show had eight performances and 175 skaters. The rink hosted numerous shows and was the entertainment hub for Tacoma residents until 1982 when part of the building collapsed and the rest was demolished.Made/Created
