Description

Katherine McDonald and Tommy Gilshannon skate together at the Lakewood Ice Arena. The arena was home to many top-level skaters when it opened in the 1930s and continued to be an entertainment hub for Tacoma residents until it closed in 1982. The arena hosted numerous ice shows including the Ice Follies, Ice Capers and more.
