Description

Don Laws, left to right, Jimmy Grogan, Hayes Alan Jenkins and Dick Button competed in the 1951 U.S. National Championships in Seattle. Grogan, who skated out of the Lakewood Ice Arena, showed natural ability at a young age and earned a spot on the U.S. team competing in the 1948 Olympic Games in France and again in 1952 in Oslo, Norway where he claimed a bronze medal. Laws, also of Lakewood Ice Arena, won the Junior Dance division at the 1948 U.S. National Championships. Photo by Stuart B Heartz, Seattle.
