Description

Lois Secreto and Jimmy Grogan won the Washington State and Pacific Coast Junior Paris titles in 1945. Secreto won the Northwest Novice Ladies title followed by the Northwest Senior title in 1947 and a second Pacific Coast Senior Ladies title in 1950. That win qualified her for the national championships where she tied for first place in the freestyle skating event. Grogan began skating at Lakewood before moving to California and at 16 earned a spot on the 1948 U.S. Olympic team and finished sixth in St. Moritz, Switzerland. He earned a bronze medal during the 1952 Oslo Norway Games and finishes second four times at the World Championships from 1952-54, and was second at the U.S. championships from 1948-52.
