The cast of the 1948 Ice Revue Show, Gay Blades at Tacoma Ice Palace are all smiles in a photo by Stuart B. Hertz of Seattle. The Ice Revue was similar to the Ice Follies performed at the Lakewood Ice Arena. Both shows had elaborate production numbers with creative costumes that delighted audiences. The ice palace, located at the 3800 block of S. Union Avenue, also hosted the Western Hockey League’s Tacoma Rockets from 1946-1953. Photo by Stuart B. Hertz, Seattle.Made/Created
