Description

Puyallup High School coach Carl Sparks holds a football as he stands in Viking Field in the 1940s. Viking Field was renamed Sparks Stadium in 1969. The current Sparks Stadium, named after Carl Sparks, opened in 1987 and is the site for Puyallup School District athletic events.
