Here is a team photo of the Tacoma Tigers taken in about 1913. The players are, top row: Keller, Belford, Reggie Harris, McMurdo, Cirot, Holderman, Neighbors, Kaufman. Front row: Harrison, Kurfess, Fries, Joe McGinnity, Hensling, Ten Million, Crisp, McMullen. McGinnity was a right-handed pitcher and played in the major leagues for 10 years. He pitched in the National League for the Baltimore Orioles in 1899 and the Brooklyn Superbas in 1900 before umping to the American League to play for the Baltimore Orioles in 1901 and 1902. After pitching for the New York Giants for six years from 1902 to 1908, McGinnity continued to pitch in the minor leagues and retired at age 54. In the major leagues, he won 246 games and had a 2.66 ERA. He had seven 20-win seasons and two 30-win seasons. He was selected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946. In 1913, McGinnity bought the Tacoma Tigers for $8,500 (about $221,000 in today's dollar). Million played for the Tacoma Tigers from 1912 to 1914 and also played for Seattle, Victoria and Spokane in the Northwest League.
