Ten Million (left) stands with a teammate from the Tacoma Tigers in about 1912. Million, who was born in 1889, played for several minor league teams in the Northwest League prior to World War I. The Cleveland Naps signed Million in 1911, but he never got to play in the major leagues. Million played for the Tacoma Tigers for three seasons from 1912 to 1914. For his last two seasons with the Tigers, he played under hall of fame coach Joe McGinnity. McGinnity bought the Tigers in 1913 after a long and successful career as a pitcher in the major leagues. Million also played for Seattle, Victoria and Spokane in the Northwest League. His career was cut short by a knee injury. Million was born in Mount Vernon, Washington, graduated from Broadway High School in 1908 and attended the University of Washington.Lexicon
