Majorettes take to the field at the University of Washington during Homecoming 1946. The Majorettes were part of the marching band ensemble that performed during halftime. Majorettes were baton twirlers and were dancers and gymnasts and are more visible during parades. Marjorettes on the field include Marcetta Ki and Shirley Garrison Rucker.
