People playing in the Badminton Open in 1984 at the Lakewood Community Center. Clarence Seman, a longtime supporter photographer of sports in Tacoma, took the photo. In 2006, Seman was awarded the Marc H. Blau Meritorious Service Award from the Oldtimers Baseball Hall of Fame for his years of dedication to sports photography in Pierce County.
