Among the players taken in this baseball team photo back in the 1950s with the Tacoma Boys Club is Wendell Brown. Born in 1945, Brown served in a number of political positions spanning over four decades. A lifelong Democrat, Brown's political career began in the state legislature in 1978. He served two terms as a representative from Tacoma's 29th district. His final term on the County Council ended in 2002 and he died in 2015.Lexicon
