In this black-and-white photo taken in the 1950s, eight boys and their coach pose for a baseball team photo. The Tacoma Boys Club began offering opportunities for boys to play baseball in 1940. The Boys Club of America began in the 1860s and today there are over 4,000 clubs across the country and over 4,000,000 kids participant in sports through the Club's programs.
