In what has become an annual event every spring across the Pierce County during baseball season, 10 boys and their two coaches pose for a team photo back in the 1950s. The Tacoma Boys Club began in 1940, starting a rich history of giving youths an opportunity to play sports. Today, the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound partner with seven school districts and have 14 total sites stretching across Pierce, Mason and Kitsap Counties.Lexicon
