Description

A group of track and field officials at Star Track VI sit and stand on the filed and throw their hats in the air. Star Track is the Washington state high school girls and boys track and field meet held at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma. Most recently its for classifications 4A/3A/2A. The 1A/2B is held in Eastern Washington. The 1987 meet was held at the Lincoln Bowl at Lincoln High School in Tacoma. Officials are an integral part of track and field meets and for the state’s largest prep meet it takes roughly 75-100 officials to run the multi-day meet.
