Ron Medved followed up an all-state career at Bellarmine Prep High School with outstanding all-conference play at the University of Washington in the early 1960s and then the Philadelphia Eagles. Medved was team captain and an Academic All-American on the Huskies Pac-8 championship team that played in the Rose Bowl. Medved earned three letters playing running back for the Huskies from 1963-66.After playing halfback for the Huskies, Medved played defensive back for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1966-70.
