Dane Looker, a Puyallup High School graduate, is pictured here playing wide receiver for the St. Louis Rams in the NFL. Looker has a career of overcoming. He was a walk-on at the University of Washington after playing basketball at Western Washington University for two years and ended up starting at wide receiver for the Huskies and made 84 catches for 949 yards in two seasons. He made the St. Louis Rams in 2000 as an undrafted free agent. He played in the NFL for nine seasons, playing for three different teams – the St. Louis Rams, New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions.
