Description

Prep from 1986-89. Reyes earned an incredible nine varsity letters during her high school career and went on to become a three-year starter for the Washington State University volleyball team at outside hitter. Reyes earned multiple all-city honors and MVP honors in volleyball, basketball and softball. In softball, Reyes was named the league MVP and first-team All-City nominee while helping Bellarmine to a state championship in 1986. While at WSU, Reyes put her name in the record books hitting the Top 10 in single-season kills (438), single-season digs (384), and career solo blocks (36). Reyes was inducted into the Tacoma-Pierce County Hall of Fame for volleyball in 2007. Photo donated by Carla (Reyes) Redhair.
