Description

Bobby Moore, who later changed his named to Ahmad Rashad, stands in the top row wearing jersey number 23 along with his teammates from the 1966 Mount Tahoma High School football team. Rashad went on to play running back and wide receiver for the University of Washington. After his college days, he was drafted in the first round by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1972 NFL draft. He'd play in four Pro Bowls in his NFL career. He'd follow his NFL career with doing commentating for NBC. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007. Also in this team photo of Mt. Tahoma's football team are Reogre Nordi (far right) and Joe Stortini (second from right). Stortini was a big supporter of local sports and was the head coach of this team. While playing football at the College of Puget Sound in the 1950s, Stortini intercepted five passes in a game, breaking the school record.
